Guitar Tuner

"OMG"

submission: Guitar Tuner
date: August 12, 2009

I don't believe this. This has GOT to be one of the first ever downloadable flashes available on newgrounds. Thank you. I've been looking for a simple tuner. You guys should make more stuff like this. :D

Author's Response:

this is early days but got to be the way forward with phones and so on..so you can get your fave animations, games and utilities on your phone - except iphones dont support flash (and probably never will as it would fuck up the apple monoploy on iphone apps). we are looking into a chromatic tuner that works on the phone by registering the note and readjusting till you get the perfect pitch.

DBZ: Fighter (Demo)

"ITS OVER 9000!!!"

date: March 8, 2009

I like the graphics, but when you make the full version you should probably make sure that the characters are more maneuverable (like they can move faster and more freely.) The attacks are okay but the kamehameha wave should inflict the most damage... again, this was an alright game. :)

Groove Cakes

"Quite. :D"

submission: Groove Cakes

Industrial AND funky!! Yes! You should try to make more crazy works like this and build a record off of it. lol 5/5 10/10! I couldn't do this genre anyways. I'm too into making the serious kind of music. w/e, GREAT JOB Shawn! :)

Author's Response:

See the only thing about this is that it's made from Garageband loops. I mean I did mess around with it quite a bit so nobody could really remake it on Garageband. But still, would I really be able to make money off of something that is from a program?

Alure

"...no."

submission: Alure

I'm sorry man, I really am. But you have to put more effort into your music. You're using too many PADS. They sound off tune and don't go well together. Take some of the pads out and maybe add some rhythm. Drums, perhaps. But if you took more time to work on this one, I'd be sure to add more points :). But for now, no. :(

Author's Response:

Sorry to disappoint you. If I were a little less ADD, then I might be able to, but I get bored way to easy. Even something that took as little time as this is an accomplishment for me.

And there are drums in it. Towards the end of the song. Did you even listen to the whole thing?

Near's Theme

"just no."

submission: Near's Theme
date: November 11, 2009

You stole it. Period. There are about three or four versions of Near's Theme. This is one of them. I suggest you remove this submission before someone reports you.

The proof is right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyTv4K Ytyzs

Why don't you create more original music?
